PROTOMOP 16 MICROFIBER MOP (16 ounces)

This mop is great for raised access floors in electronic cleanrooms and computer rooms and for laying down floor finishes

MATERIAL: 70% Polyester/30% Polyamide Microfiber Yarn

CONSTRUCTION: Looped Ends, Sewn Headband and Sewn Tailband.

QUALITIES: 10:1 Absorbency Ratio, Mildew Resistant, Autoclavable (approximate 30% shrinkage), Can Be Irradiated, Non-Linting, Mechanical Cleaning action of Microfiber enhances particle collection, High Chemical Tolerance, Leaves less liquid on surface than other mops, Quick Absorbency, Long life.

Retains standard headband/tail band mop construction but replaces cotton or poly yarn with microfiber yarn, a new material on the American market.
No “break-in” period. Ready to use immediately.
More absorbent – this means fewer trips to the mop bucket.
Better particle pick up due to the 1,000’s of “tiny fingers” – cleans better than present mops.
Lighter – our 16 oz microfiber mop will pick up more water than a 24 oz cotton mop

CLEANROOM CLEANING AGENTS AND MOP COMPARISON CHARTS
The table below shows the effectiveness of PROTOGREENTM detergent compared to 12 Megohm DI water and a 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and 30% 12 Megohm DI water. Protogreen Cleanroom Surface Cleaner is as effective as or more effective than DI water or the IPA mixture. The average number of particles before testing were 463 @ 0.5 microns and larger and 80 @ 5.0 microns and larger.
